Reblogged from through my eyes

Ilia Darlin - “Hit Me”
Reposting, because the first one wasn’t working and I didn’t feel like fixing it until I re-listened to the song and decided it’s really very good.
(unabashed pop)
The Archies - “Sugar, Sugar” (Music Video)
Oh, yes - I just took you there.
ROUNDIN’ IT UP:
Yeezy says Watch the Throne in March, new solo LP in summer.
Weezy says Tha Carter IV in April.
Sleigh Bells (and Diplo, who also just remixed their single Tell ‘Em) are potentially working with Beyonce <—-AMAZING!
This songwriter who calls herself Neon Hitch (kind of annoying in the photo) has a single that recently debuted. It’s called “Get Over U,” is produced by Benny Blanco, written by Sia, and is quite good.
Thanks to PopJustice for pointing this one out - and yes it does sound like something from a post-“Dancing On My Own” playing field. Take a listen.
Damn you, Max Martin.
DAMN YOU!
This would be properly brilliant if this was a Miley tune. She must get the Swede’s again for whatever she releases next.
Still, fuck, this is approved.
Sorry, guys.

Song of the week.
Song of the year. (For now, but seriously - this is the shit.)
It has come.

Get the fuck ready.
Via PopJustice:
…the production, vocal and structure will sound very different.
And you don’t have very long to wait.
Patrick Wolf, “Time of My Life”
I know, I know - it’s time I get with the program here.
His new album is set for a May release.
^What a sleeve, eh?
Click the picture for a FREE download of a lovely, energetic four-track EP from British newcomer Florrie.
A little bit of info via her official site:
1. She‘s a drummer, singer, songwriter, guitarist and remixes her own tracks.
2. She’s 22 (!)
3. She’s a part of Xenomania.
4. She’s unsigned on purpose.
Also be sure to check out the Fred Falke (<—-he’s a winner) remixes available on her site for FREE as well.
All of this is very, very promising.
